المملكة: Saudi Scouts concludes its participation in the tenth international meeting in Sharjah

The Saudi Arabian Scout Association concluded its participation in the tenth international scout meeting hosted by the Sharjah Scout Commission in the United Arab Emirates under the slogan “Scout and Sustainable Development”.
The meeting comes with the participation of eighty scout associations from all over the world, where a honorary ceremony was held in the presence of the General Supervisor of the Organizing Committee, Major General Abdullah Al -Suwaidi and the Secretary -General of the Emirates Scout Association, Khalil Rahma.

The association’s participation came within the framework of its keenness to achieve the goals of the meeting by consolidating the bonds of friendship and brotherhood, exchanging experiences and knowledge with scouts from different countries, and enhancing leadership skills among Saudi youth to be ambassadors for peace and sustainable development in their society, in addition to enhancing the values ​​of social responsibility and effective contribution to building societies Strong and sustainable.

Various activities and activities

The meeting witnessed many various activities and activities, as the participants visited Sharjah Safari and exploring wildlife, as well as a trip to the wheat farm to enhance environmental awareness.
The activities also included a tour of the hanging gardens, the center of birds of prey and the Hafee Reserve, in addition to visiting the Burj Khalifa and participating in an open sports day in Al -Hamriya and the visit of the Sharjah Academy for Space and Astronomy Science and Astronomy, and a specialized workshop on scout and sustainable development was organized.

Culture exchange

The delegation of Saudi Scouts participated in the international evening that witnessed the exchange of cultures between delegations, as the delegation made offers on food, popular fashion, traditions and customs, as well as displaying pictures of development in the Kingdom and highlighting the efforts of the Kingdom’s scouts in achieving the sustainable development goals.

The participation concluded amid a wide praise of the participants and organizers, as it contributed to building bridges of cooperation between the scouts from different countries, and strengthened the presence of Saudi scouts in international forums to confirm its pioneering role in supporting sustainable development.
