A slight decline in the size of the Belgian debt

Brussels on February 18 / WAM / The Belgian Federal Debt Agency reported that the net of the federal government debt reached 506.891 billion euros at the end of January, a decrease of 2.41 billion.

The total Belgian debt, which takes into account financial investments and securities, increased by 1.06 billion euros to 520.215 billion euros.

The average government debt period was 10.50 years, an increase of 0.12 years, and the average interest rate on debt tools decreased to 1.94%.
