Fujairah and Belarus rooms expect an understanding note for economic and trade cooperation

Fujairah, February 18 / WAM / The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Belarus Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperation between them with the aim of increasing the efficiency of economic activities in Fujairah and organizing commercial missions, “B2B” negotiations, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and other events.

The two parties shall exchange according to the memo, which was signed during the reception of the Fujairah Chamber, an economic delegation in Belarus, proposals related to commercial and economic activities, the lists of potential partners interested in bilateral cooperation, information about conferences and exhibitions held in the Republic of Belarus and the Emirate of Fujairah, and seeks to support the establishment of joint projects, information centers and structures Others enhance trade cooperation, organize administrative meetings and consultations.

The memorandum was signed by the Fujairah Chamber, His Excellency Sultan All Handasi, Director General of the Chamber, and for the Belarus Chamber, His Excellency Mikhail Mia Telnkov, President of the Chamber, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber, the Department of Industry and Economy, the Fujairah Foundation for Natural Resources, Fujairah Airport, and the Port of Fujairah, The Fujairah Petroleum Industry District, the Fujairah Adventure Corporation, and a number of business owners.

His Excellency Sorour Hamad Al -Zuhari, Vice -Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber, welcomed at the beginning of the meeting the president and members of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus. Investment, tourism, logistical services, and exchange of information about investment opportunities for both parties.

For his part, the President of the Belarus Chamber, during the meeting, stressed his country’s interest in developing economic relations with the Emirate of Fujairah, within the framework of the growing relations with the UAE, the desire to develop the areas of cooperation, partnership and mutual investment between the business community in Belarus and Fujairah and benefit from the ingredients available to both sides, and invite For the Fujairah Chamber to visit his country.

His Excellency Sultan All Al -Handasi, Director General of the Fujairah Chamber, delivered a speech during which he affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to enhance trade and investment relations between the business community in the Emirate of Fujairah with their counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries, indicating that the meeting with the delegation of the Belarus Chamber comes in this context.

Al -Hindasi gave a presentation on the economic advantages of the Emirate of Fujairah and the comprehensive development developments it witnesses, expressing his hope that the Memorandum of Understanding will contribute to opening joint commercial and investment areas between business owners in Fujairah and Belarus, and stressing the Chamber’s readiness to provide support and facilities for businessmen from Belarus who want to enter The labor market in the emirate, in coordination with the relevant government departments.
