Soft hands enhances its presence in the defense industries during “IDEX 2025”

Abu Dhabi, February 19 / WAM / The International Defense Exhibition “IDEX 2025” witnessed a growing presence of women’s cadres in the defense industries sector, which reflects the growing role of Emirati women in various areas of this vital sector that included engineering, advanced technology, quality, matching and other qualitative fields.
This trend is highlighted within the UAE’s strategy to support gender balance in the vital sectors and promote national competencies, as women today contribute to a pivotal role in developing advanced defensive solutions and supporting innovation in military and security industries.
Tawader “IDEX 2025” is the pioneering position that Emirati women have reached in the field of defense industries, as qualitative posts have emerged for Emirati engineers and experts who contributed to developing strategic projects that support the defense capabilities of the state and enhance their position in global markets.
Saeed bin Khadem Al -Mansouri, advisor to the defense exhibitions in Cabtel Events – ADNEC Group, said that the new session of the exhibition witnessed a remarkable increase in the participation of women who play a diversified role in the military sectors, as well as their important roles in the technical and non -technical fields.
He added that the women’s participation was not limited to visitors, but also included a prominent presence of soft hands in the exhibitors ’platforms, which reflects the growth of the role of women in the defense industries sector, noting that the ADNEC Group pays great attention to the rehabilitation of its cadres that oversee the organization of the largest exhibitions and coordinate the participation of major companies Local and international, whether in the military sector or other vital sectors.
In terms of manufacturing and engineering, Emirati engineers played a prominent role in developing defense projects, especially in the fields of smart systems and sustainable technologies. In this context, Hoda Al -Junaibi, a first officer in the commercial department, at the Industrial Balance Complex, in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, reviewed her role in supporting the success of the complex’s participation in the exhibition by reviewing future plans to enhance the role of the industrial balance group as a major possible for defense and security industries.
She added that the complex witnessed a remarkable development during the past ten years, as approximately 68% of the region has been developed, with growth exceeding 200% in the number of industrial units, stressing that Emirati women are always at the heart of the development of defense innovation and a major factor for growth.
For its part, the engineer, Aisha Abdullah Al -Ahmad, a network engineer and communications in a balance of quality and conformity, said that Emirati women hold qualitative positions in the sector thanks to the firm belief in their distinguished capabilities that are keen to ensure the sustainability of the growth of the defense industries sector according to the highest security standards.
