The AFC Board of Directors of Chess is appointed as the Secretary -General Assistant
Al -Ain, February 20 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Asian Chess Federation, headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan, announced the appointment of the appointment of Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Al -Khoury as the Assistant Secretary -General.
This came during the first quarter meeting of the AFC Board of Directors yesterday through “visual communication technology”; Where Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan welcomed the joining of Al -Khoury to the leadership team of the federation, thanks to his extensive experiences in the administrative, technical and strategic fields, which will constitute a value addition to the chess development process in the Asian continent.
Al -Khoury stressed his intention to make his efforts to enhance the status of the Asian Chess Federation, and to support the initiatives that contribute to developing the game at the continental and international levels.
