festival "Mleiha read 2".. celebrates reading and knowledge
Sharjah, February 21/ WAM/ The activities of the “Maliha Read 2” festival were launched yesterday at Maliha Cultural Sports Club, amid a large presence of officials, parents and students who numbered 1500 students from 15 schools from Sharjah and the central region.
The activities included a group of cultural and interactive workshops to enhance the passion of children to read and Arabic calligraphy, in addition to presenting a theatrical presentation entitled “A Journey to the World of Reading”. Between motor and literary performance to reflect the concept of reading as a journey to border worlds.
At the end of the events, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al -Kaabi was honored with the cultural personality of the festival in appreciation of his contributions to the cultural and educational scenes, as well as the participating parties in the festival.
The events were attended by Sultan Ali Saif, Chairman of the Municipal Council for the Maliha Region and Salem bin Hayiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, Dr. Saeed Musabah Al -Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Union of Sagittarius and Dr. Yasser Al -Doukhi, Director of Sports and Community Events Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, Muhammad Sultan El -Kehouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors Melha Club, members of the Board of Directors, and a number of officials of the authorities, departments, parents, players and students.
