The teams of Oman, Qatar, Iraq and Bahrain qualified for the Gulf Cup semi -final for the players

Kuwait, February 25/ WAM/ The Omani team qualified for the semi -finals of the Gulf Cup for the players after its victory over our national team 1- zero this evening at Jaber Al -Mubarak Stadium in the third round of the preliminary round in the group stage in the first group in the tournament hosted by Kuwait It concludes next Wednesday.
The Omani team raised a balance to 5 points, while our national team’s balance was frozen at two points and left the championship.
The only winning goal in the match came through the player Ismail Al -Ajmi, “Q. 19”, while the offensive attempts of our team players did not result in returning the match to the starting point.
The Qatari team qualified for the semi -finals despite its draw with its Kuwaiti counterpart negatively, by goal difference after the two teams equal to 3 points each.
The second group witnessed the Iraqi team’s victory over its Saudi counterpart 1 – zero through a penalty kick by the player Mustafa Karim “Q34”, to raise its score to 7 points, the leaders of the second group, to face the second team of the first group tomorrow in the semi -finals.
The Bahraini team booked its seat in the semi -finals after its victory over its Yemeni counterpart 1 – zero came through the player Talal Youssef “s 27”, to raise its score to 5 points.
The semi -final matches will be held tomorrow at Jaber Al -Mubarak Stadium, and the Omani team will meet the leaders of the first group with its Bahraini counterpart, the second group, while the Iraqi team, the leaders of the second group, faces its second place in the first group.
