Al -Watan Fund celebrates the graduation of 230 participants from the program "Swift"
Abu Dhabi, February 25/ WAM/ Al -Watan Fund honored, yesterday, distinguished students from the graduates of the “Swift” program, which was launched in cooperation with a number of local and international partners, in order to empower the people of the homeland, and to launch their capabilities in the fields of modern technology and programming.
The number of graduates of the program reached 230 graduates and graduates from the sons and daughters of the Emirates, who were trained to be the nucleus of a generation of young programmers, and a team of entrepreneurs in the field of applications.
The fund also honored the parties that contributed to the success of this program, and 16 guides from those who supervised the program, in the presence of more than 1,250 parents of the honored students and teachers, a large number of partners and supporters and a large sector of school students from the emirates of the state.
His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, Director General of the Al -Watan Fund, said that the fund seeks through a large number of initiatives, activities and programs, to contribute to building a society of knowledge in all its categories, especially emerging and young people who will lead in the future the process of development and comprehensive renaissance, in addition to its role in promoting a national identity Permanent and sustainable pillars of production, responsibility and empowerment.
He added that the Fund Al -Watan is working through its partnerships with international and educational institutions to establish a generation that can provide innovative and sustainable solutions in society, and realizes the importance of knowledge, and seeks to participate in achieving the renaissance of the country, stressing his pride in gaining students who graduated from the “Swift” program, the ability to work Professionally on the ground.
He stressed that the role of the fund to enhance the national identity is inseparable from its role in empowering young people, and that the homeland fund has been working since its foundation to enhance the capabilities of the UAE youth and enable them to build a bright future for them and their societies, pointing out that programming and artificial intelligence have become a definition of development in a large number of countries The world, which the fund was keen to contribute to establishing a new generation of innovators and programmers, and enhancing the concepts of creativity Innovation, in a way that creates a positive impact on the environment, society and human achievement.
He said that the role of the fund does not stop at training students only, but also sets them up to welcoming horizons through sponsoring application development teams, and encouraging students to specialize in technical fields such as computer science, and contribute to developing a sustainable source to establish application development teams, stressing that the “accelerator program Swift, “is one of the most important continuous initiatives in the field of creativity and innovation offered by the Fund.
