"Medical Libraries Forum" It discusses innovation in the field of health services

Sharjah, February 25/ WAM/ The work of the second medical libraries forum at Sharjah University, organized by the Emirates Library and Information Association in cooperation with the Association of Specialized Libraries – the Arab Gulf Branch with the participation of a group of experts and specialists from inside and outside the country.
During its sessions, the forum discussed the most prominent research and technical developments in the field of medical libraries and health information services, including a session entitled “Research and Technical Developments and Renewed Trends”, which dealt with the latest developments in health information technology and scientific research.
Dr. Hassan Al -Sareehi, President of the Association of Specialized Libraries – Arab Gulf Branch, stressed the importance of the forum in enhancing the role of medical libraries in providing accurate information and research support for the health sector.
For his part, Dr. Abdullah Al -Jafiti of the Emirates Library and Information Association said that the forum aims to enhance cooperation between academic and health institutions, where medical libraries play a fundamental role in supporting clinical decisions by providing reliable information sources for health practitioners.
Dr. Essam El -Din Ajami, Deputy Director of the University for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation at the University of Sharjah, explained that the university is keen to host such events that contribute to raising the efficiency of scientific research, educational process, learning outcomes and promoting the quality of health information.
