Queen Camilla and King Charles are dating in preparation for Ramadan (video)

On a royal visit bearing a human and social character, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited a number of societies in London on February 26, before the start of the blessed month of Ramadan, and their tour included stopping at the Darjeeling Express restaurant, which was founded by the famous chef Asma Khan, where they participated in preparing food boxes for donations.

One of the most prominent visiting stations was the sitting of King Charles and Queen Camilla alongside Asma Khan to help mobilize dates, which is an essential component in Ramadan breakfast meals, where it is eaten at sunset to break fasting.

King Charles, 76, expressed great enthusiasm during work, prompting the chef Asma Khan to comment with amazement: “I did not realize that the king would be so quickly!”, Which made the king explode laughing.

“I did not realize that you are a very fast duo!” Added Khan, joking with the attendees. It appears that King Charles has taken the task seriously, as he continued to mobilize at an amazing pace, while Khan praised his skills, saying: “You are filling the dates faster than I can close the cans!”

After completing the dates mobilization, the king and the queen moved to the kitchen, where they participated in the head of chefs, Asha Pradan, in preparing Beriani boxes for donation to the Dorstep Association, which supports the needy families to permanent housing.

In another funny scene, King Charles seemed to have been busy chatting with the guests and moved away from work, which prompted Queen Camilla to comment in a fun spirit: “I think my husband is supposed to be busy with this work, gentlemen, we are waiting!”, Which raised the laughter of all those present, before the king returns to complete his mission.

After the end of their visit to the Indian restaurant, and the king and Queen continued their tour by visiting the “Imad Al -Suri Kitchen” restaurant, where they met members of the Syrian community in Britain.

They were received by the Syrian chef, Imad Al -Din Al -Arnab, who lost three restaurants in Damascus before reaching the United Kingdom as a refugee in 2015, carrying with him just $ 15, and today, his restaurant became one of the most famous Syrian restaurants in London, where he offers dishes that reflect his ancient heritage.

The meeting was full of feelings, as the king met with members of the Syrian community, including the director of the Pavta Grax Award and his wife, Dr. Hamza Al -Katab, who directed the famous documentary for for Sama, who documents the tragedies of the Syrian war.

During the conversation, King Charles expressed his deep support for the Syrian community, stressing his interest in knowing more about their culture and experiences. After the meeting, Imad Al -Arnab talked about his impression, saying: “His visit has left a profound impact on us. The king knows a lot about the Syrian culture, about Islam, about our history. It is surprising to see this interest.”

Al -Arnab added: “This type of support from His Majesty shows us how important we are human beings. (Layalina)
