Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski confirmed that his relationship with Donald Trump is able to withstand after the verbal argument between them, yesterday, in the oval office, when the American President went to the point of threat to the cameras to “abandon” Ukraine.

The agreement on the joint exploitation of the Ukrainian mineral wealth was not signed for which Zelinski visited Washington. It also canceled a joint press conference between the two presidents.

However, Trump said on his social network, Truth Sushl, his guest “can return when he is ready for peace.”

Trump emphasized that he wanted to “stand a shoot now” in Ukraine, after the verbal argument with Zelinski.

Trump told the press while leaving the White House for the weekend in Florida, that Zellinski “exaggerated his position” during the verbal argument.

Trump criticized Zilinski’s opposition to a ceasefire with Russia.

For his part, Zelinski considered that he did not owe Trump with an apology, hours after the verbal argument between them.

“I respect the President (Trump) and respect the American people,” Zellinski said in an interview with “Fox News” channel yesterday evening.

When the program broadcaster Zelinski asked if he was ready to apologize from Trump, the Ukrainian president replied, “I think we should be open and very honest, and I do not think we did something bad.”

Zelinski, whose country was subjected to the Russian invasion three years ago, stressed that “no one wants to end the war more than us.”

Zelinski considered that Kyiv’s relationship with the United States could “of course” be saved, after the verbal argument.

Zelinski told Fox News that “of course, relations between the two countries can” reform “because these relations that go beyond the borders of the two presidents, they are strong and historical relations between our peoples,” adding that he does not want to lose the United States as a partner.

Zelinski stressed that he wanted Trump to be “more by our side” in negotiations to end the conflict.

Zelinski indicated that it would be “difficult” for his country to win in the war or to confront Russia if American aid does not continue, hours after his American counterpart threatened to abandon Kiev if he did not make concessions to settle the conflict with Moscow.

“It will be difficult without your support, but we cannot lose our values ​​and people. We cannot lose our freedom,” Zellinski told Fox News. He stressed that Ukraine “does not want to lose” American support.

Zelinski left the White House early Friday after an unprecedented verbal confrontation with Trump in the oval office.

The US President threatened his guest to abandon Ukraine if he did not make concessions to settle the conflict with Russia.

Yesterday, the US President accused his Ukrainian counterpart, which came to request support from Washington three years after the start of the war against Russia, that “he showed lack of respect for the United States in its oval office.”
