Emirates .. an ideal environment for the prosperity of startups and entrepreneurship

Abu Dhabi, March 2 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its environmental support for startups and entrepreneurship, through flexible government policies, advanced legislation, and global level infrastructure, which made it one of the most attractive destinations for investors and entrepreneurs worldwide.

The UAE’s economic vision, which is based on diversification, sustainability and innovation, is a basic pillar in supporting the startups sector, as the country provides a competitive environment based on empowerment and investment facilities, which enhances its ability to attract talents and ambitious companies, and push the wheel of growth in non -oil sectors such as technology, industry, financial services and renewable energy.

Today, the UAE is a global center for emerging business, thanks to legislation that encourage foreign investment, such as allowing fully ownership of projects in many sectors, providing tax incentives and specialized free zones, in addition to leading government initiatives such as the “300 billion” project to enhance national industries, as well as a number of emerging companies incubators such as “Hub71”.

In this context, the Sheikh Khalifa Prize for Excellence is highlighted, as one of the main initiatives that enhance the standards of quality and competitiveness in the business sector, as this award is awarded to companies that achieve high levels of performance and innovation, which enhances its position in the market and encourages it to expand and grow.

A number of entrepreneurs who won the Sheikh Khalifa Prize recently confirmed that the business environment in the country is characterized by high competitiveness that speeds up the growth of companies in the various sectors, and encourages innovation and sustainability, noting that the support provided by the state to startups and entrepreneurs contributes to achieving sustainable growth, and enhances the ability of projects to expand regionally and globally.

Abdulaziz Saud Al -Shamsi, founder and CEO of “VCharge” for electric cars, said that the Sheikh Khalifa Prize for concession confirms the company’s role in supporting the spread of electric cars by strengthening the infrastructure of vehicles, in line with the UAE’s vision in converting to sustainable transport solutions.

He added that the business environment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the support it provides for entrepreneurs and startups, is a major factor in the success of Emirati projects, stressing that the emirate is an ideal incubator for innovation and investment in sustainable technologies.

For his part, Mohamed Salman, Director General of the Federation of Copper Bars, stressed that the manufacturing sector in the Emirates is witnessing increased growth with the support of export and stimulating industrial legislation, explaining that the factory always seeks to achieve more excellence and expansion, in line with the UAE vision of the future of industry and economic sustainability.

Salman pointed out that the factory produces copper with a capacity of 200 thousand tons annually and issues 90% of its production to foreign markets, which makes it a major contributor to support the national economy and enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as an advanced industrial center.

In turn, Dennis Tegrick, the founding partner and commercial chief executive of “Archiref”, said that winning the Sheikh Khalifa Prize for Excellence represents an important station in the company’s march, which devotes its efforts to restore environmental systems in the maritime and marine field, in support of the environmental goals of the UAE.

He explained that the environmental protection sector needs more specialized companies, and to enhance cooperation in this vital field with different parties, pointing out that the company is working closely with parties such as the Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi, and other parties that have ambitious environmental goals, which contributes to achieving environmental sustainability in the country.
