Ras Al Khaimah Municipality organizes a dialogue forum on enhancing the efficiency of consulting offices

Ras Al Khaimah, 3 March / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department launched the activities of the first phase of the capacity building program for engineering consulting offices in the emirate, during a dialogue forum organized by the aim of enhancing the efficiency of consulting offices and raising the quality of engineering services provided, in line with the vision of the rational government to achieve sustainability and excellence in construction and development projects.

The forum discussed the program, which is based on four strategic axes, which are training, development, improving performance and compliance through periodic evaluation and performance follow -up in addition to motivation and excellence.

During the forum’s sessions, an expanded discussion on the updates of the “Green Building Conditions List” to enhance sustainability standards and review general observations, for construction auditing, as well as launching a “building material guarantee project” to ensure the application of best practices in the construction sector.

The department stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the governmental and private sectors and considering consulting offices as a key partner in the change industry and the innovation of urban solutions.

Engineer Aisha Saif Al -Khanbouli, Executive Director of the Urban Development Sector in the department indicated that engineering consulting offices are not only partners but makers of changing ideas and contribute to drawing the features of a sustainable future.
