المملكة: Today, the steps for registration in i’tikaaf in the Two Holy Mosques

The General Authority for Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque today launched a new electronic service that allows individuals to apply for a permit for i’tikaaf in the Two Holy Mosques during the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan through the electronic portal of the authority.
This service aims to facilitate registration procedures for those wishing to i’tikaaf through an electronic platform that provides an easy and fast experience, and beneficiaries can access the service through the following:

  • Log in using the uniform national access or by creating a new account.
  • Choose i’tikaaf site, whether in the Sacred Mosque or the Prophet’s Mosque.
  • Enter the required data while agreeing to the conditions and conditions and watching the mandatory awareness video.
  • After completing the required steps, the applicant is notified via a text message stating that the request is accepted initially.
  • The applicant is then required to confirm the attendance and submit his personal image to issue the final permit.

Conditions of i’tikaaf permit

The service requires that the applicant be a Saudi national or a valuable residence in valid, and that he be inside the Kingdom and that his age should not be less than eighteen years of age and that he has good health that enables him to perform acts of worship without difficulty.
The applicant must also declare any chronic diseases or drugs used regularly, while adhering to the period of i’tikaaf from the twentieth day of Ramadan until the end of the evening prayer on the night of Eid Al -Fitr.
The electronic service is characterized by ease of use and its availability in Arabic, English and Urdu, and it is also free and available through the authority’s electronic portal, which contributes to providing a flexible and integrated experience for those wishing to i’tikaaf in the Two Holy Mosques.
