A shocking comment from Ilham Shaheen on Bashar al -Assad: “I do not consider it a criminal.”

In a television interview through the Egyptian “Seventh Sama” program, the Egyptian artist Ilham Shaheen made controversial statements about former Syrian President Bashar al -Assad, as she confirmed that she does not consider him a criminal, expressing doubts about the validity of the scenes of torture and prisons that were circulated in the media.
Shaheen said in the interview: “God knows the truth, there are contradictory accounts, and I cannot confirm the health of any of them,” adding that she had previously seen acting and fabrication cases, which makes her unable to believe any party categorically.
She also explained the reason for her support for Assad, saying: “I supported him because he was fighting terrorism, and any president fighting terrorism will be in his class,” noting that Syria had fighters of 35 different nationalities who were funded to fight inside the country.
As for her position on the fall of the regimes, she commented: “When Bashar al -Assad falls, I did nothing.
