المملكة: The approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to establish a charitable work campaign in its fifth version through “Ihsan”

The approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – was issued to establish the national campaign for charitable work in its fifth edition, through the national platform for charitable work “Ihsan”, starting from Friday evening, March 7, 2025 AD corresponding to 7 Ramadan 1446 AH, in continuation of his noble support – may God support him – for charitable work and maximizing its impact, coinciding with what the month of Ramadan is witnessing from the end of this month.

Leadership interest in supporting solidarity

The “Ihsan” campaign for charitable work comes as an embodiment of the great care and attention from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect them – with charitable work, and the opportunity for all members of society to contribute to the work of righteousness and social solidarity, in a month when the reward and reward doubles.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the “Ihsan” platform, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al -Qasabi, extended thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God support them – for their continuous support for the “Ihsan” platform since its establishment with the noble and generous order in 2021 AD; This contributed to motivating the people of good and philanthropists to participate in supporting the categories owed through the areas of the reliable platform.

Sculted charitable donations

His Excellency stressed that the national campaign for charitable work in its fifth version comes as an extension of the great demand and wide societal interaction, as the total donations in the fourth version amounted to more than 1.8 billion riyals, through more than 15 million donation operations; This reflects the Kingdom’s leading position in the charitable work and sustainable development sector, and the third version witnessed donations exceeding 760 million riyals, while the first and second copies achieved more than 750 million riyals and more than 800 million, respectively, which embodies the values ​​of giving and community solidarity. The “Ihsan” platform receives the contributions of philanthropists in various charitable and development fields, including the “Ihsan Al -Waqafi Fund”, through reliable digital channels in the platform that operates according to high governance that ensures the facilitation of donations accurately, transparent and safe, whether through the application of the platform and its website, or through the unified number 8001247000.

Empowering the charitable sector

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence “Sayya” has been charged with establishing the “Ihsan” platform according to a generous toxic order, and it has a follow -up of a supervisory committee that includes 13 government agencies, and works according to solid and tight governance, within the framework of enabling the charitable sector digitally and enhancing transparency, which contributes to raising the efficiency of donations and delivering them to those who deserve it. The total donations received by the “Ihsan” platform since its establishment so far exceeded 9 billion riyals, benefiting more than 4.8 million beneficiaries and benefiting in various humanitarian and development fields.
