المملكة: Implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program for the distribution of dates and breaking up in a number of countries
This came in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Nigeria, Faisal Al -Ghamdi, the Secretary -General of the Council of Imams and preachers in Abuja, Sheikh Imam Isaac Youssef, and the religious attaché assigned to the Kingdom’s embassy in Nigeria Yahya Sufiani.

This is in addition to a number of officials in the Nigerian government and heads of some Islamic societies and institutions, and the Ambassador Al -Ghamdi noted in a speech on this occasion the efforts of the wise leadership in the service of Islam and Muslims, and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance to achieve leadership directives to serve the Islamic affairs in various countries of the world.
The Secretary -General of the Council of Imams and preachers in Abuja thanked and appreciated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince for the great efforts they offer in serving Muslims in various parts of the world, and to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for the implementation of various programs.
Boys and Sierra Leone
The Ministry also implemented the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program to break the fasting people in both Benin and Sierra Leone Republics during the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH, within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to support Muslims around the world and enhance the ties of Islamic brotherhood.
In the Republic of Sierra Leone, the program was implemented on the second Sunday of the blessed month of Ramadan, at the Mama Wori Mosque in the capital, Fritown, and the number of beneficiaries reached approximately 5500 beneficiaries.
This is in the presence of the Acting Chargé d’Affairs to the Kingdom’s embassy in Sierra Leone, Ali Al -Hajji, who praised the Kingdom’s efforts to support humanitarian and Islamic programs in various countries, stressing that this program comes within a series of charitable initiatives that the Kingdom offers in the month of Ramadan.
The program was also implemented in the Republic of Benin, and the number of beneficiaries reached approximately 5,000 beneficiaries in three different regions of the Republic, in the presence of the supervisor of the Ministry’s advocates, Abdel Hamid Thani.
He explained that the Kingdom, through these initiatives, showed its great interest in promoting charitable and Islamic work in the world, pointing to many prominent activities that the Kingdom offers to his country, which contributes to spreading the tolerant values of Islam.

Function of the fasting people
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance represented by the Islamic Advisor Office at the Kingdom’s Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand also held an official ceremony for the implementation of the programs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to break the fasting people, the gift of luxury dates, the distribution of honorable Qur’ans, and the dispatch of the imams, on the evening of the fifth of Ramadan 1446 AH in the capital, Bangkok.
This came in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Thailand Abdul Rahman Al -Suhaibani, a number of officials and ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries, and heads of Islamic councils and associations in Thailand.
The President of the Thai Parliament, Mohamed Nour, mentioned the leading role of the Kingdom in supporting Muslims, and the efforts made by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in implementing these charitable programs that reach various parts of the world, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan.
He stated that the luxury dates gift project is very appreciated by Muslims in Thailand, and these initiatives reflect the humanitarian role of the Kingdom and its keenness to serve Muslims wherever they are.

Quality projects
The Sheikh of Islam in Thailand, Sheikh Aaron Bon Shum, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leadership, government and people, for these blessed programs, especially programs for breaking the fasting people and the gift of luxury dates for the year 1446 AH, which are implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
Ambassador Al -Suhaibani stressed that these programs reflect the Kingdom’s interest and its keenness to support Muslims in Thailand through qualitative projects that serve Islamic societies.
He pointed out that these programs are implemented in coordination with the competent authorities and their distribution to the central councils, charities and mosques, noting the efforts of the Kingdom’s leadership and their keenness to take care of Islam and Muslims, and the great role played by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in delivering these programs to Muslims around the world.
