المملكة: The Foreign Minister renews the Kingdom’s rejection of calls for the displacement of the Palestinian people

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated, on Friday, in the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the organization in Jeddah.
The exceptional ministerial meeting is held at a participant request from sister and friendly Islamic countries, and within the framework of the pursuit of the continuation of the unity of the class and the intensification of the Islamic world’s efforts to end the aggression of the Israeli occupation in the Palestinian territories and the Syrian Arab Republic and stop its violations that destabilize the security and stability of the region.

The ceasefire in Gaza

During the meeting, His Highness stressed the necessity of sustaining and implementing the ceasefire in Gaza, obliging Israel to respect international law, stop these crimes, and completely reject the calls for the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land, and for any attempts to impose solutions that do not achieve the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people in determining their fate, and remedying the serious repercussions for that in terms of the region and the world.
His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed the Kingdom’s continued work with partner and friendly countries through the “International Alliance to implement a two -state solution” to push the path of implementing the two -state solution.

Syria’s return

During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the return of Syria to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and his aspiration to contribute and participate with its brothers in upgrading the work of the organization.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Walid bin Abdul Karim Al -Khuraiji, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multiple International Affairs and General Supervisor of the Ministry of the Ministry for General Diplomacy Affairs Abdul Rahman Al -Rasi, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Muhammad Al -Farhan, and the permanent representative of the Kingdom to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Saleh Al -Suhaibani.
