The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirmed its recognition of university degrees issued from outside the country, with the system of affiliation, open education, e -education, and education education, according to specific conditions and controls, while the Committee for recognition of qualifications does not consider applications for recognition for craft certificates, or certificates granted as a result of training courses, or programs limited to certain segments of students, indicating the presence of two external agencies approved to verify Of qualifications, they are reliable partners of the Ministry.

In detail, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarified, in its response to a question about recognizing university qualifications issued from outside the UAE, with the unconventional study system, such as affiliation, open education, e -learning, and correspondence, that all methods of study are considered, provided that the educational institution is accredited by academic accreditation authorities in the country of study, where the student is committed to the study method approved at the university.

The Ministry stressed that the qualifications recognition committee does not consider applications for recognition of craft certificates that do not include a study, or the certificates granted as a result of training courses. And documents and study records if they are part of the study to obtain a degree. The cases that are evident that it has a clear violation of the internationally recognized academic systems. And the programs limited to certain segments of students, such as allocated to foreign students, in addition to any other cases that do not apply standards and conditions.

She pointed out that “Dataflow” and “Quadrabay” are two approved external aspects to verify qualifications, and they are reliable partners of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Both partners offer the verification document, and they approve the speeches of embassies, pointing out that the application through one of these two agencies is mandatory for the first stage of the process of obtaining a certificate of recognition of the qualification.

She pointed out that the recognition of the qualification is carried out through two phases, the first is to verify the validity of the qualification, and the second is for recognition of the qualification, as the applicant must in the first stage, verify the validity of his qualification, through one of the partners of the Ministry of Higher Education and the scientific research accredited, and once this step is completed and the qualification is affirmed, it is possible to move to the second stage, where the applicant will be able to obtain a recognition report from the Ministry of Higher Education And scientific research.

She pointed out that the service of recognition of university qualifications issued from outside the UAE is 100%electronic, and there is no specific time to provide the service, and the period that takes recognition of the qualification is (30) working days, while the permissible period to apply for a review of the decision to recognize the qualification is three months of the recognition decision.

Fees

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research clarified that the graduate obtaining fees for the health of his qualification from one of its trusted providers differ based on the country of study and fees that the university or the donor may be imposed by the service providers approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and after completing the first stage, it is possible to apply for a certificate of recognition of 100 dirhams for the degree of bachelor’s degree, and 150 dirhams Graduate studies, 200 dirhams for a doctorate degree, and electronic payments are accepted via the electronic dirham card or post -payment cards.
