The Central Bank issues souvenirs for the centenary of the poet Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais
Abu Dhabi, March 10 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates Bank, in cooperation with the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, issued a souvenir of silver on the occasion of the centenary of the poet Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais (1925-2025).
According to a press release issued today, the issuance of the Memondi Memorial comes in light of the celebrations of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” with the Emirati poet Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais, who is one of the most prominent poetic voices in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
His name was associated with the “Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Award”, which honored dozens of Arab writers and creators from its foundation in 1987 until today.
The front face of the masculinity includes a poetic text of the late Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais, “My country is a blood flow between the wings, as if it is the soul in both.” The years 1925-2025, and the nominal value of the mockery.
The weight of each silver maker is 60 grams, with a nominal value of 100 dirhams, where 1000 pieces will be released. The entire amount offered to the Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais Cultural Foundation will be delivered and will be available for sale at its headquarters only.
His Excellency Saif Hamid Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor of the Central Bank for Banking Operations and Supporting Services, expressed his pride in this cooperation, which reflects the interest of the central bank in honoring the pioneers of thought and culture, who contributed to enriching the creativity in the UAE and the Arab world.
The issuance of souvenirs for the centenary of Emirati poet Sultan bin Ali Al Owais comes to commemorate his memory and honor his prominent contributions and efforts in the intellectual and scientific advancement in the areas of culture, literature and poetry. For his part, His Excellency Abdel Hamid Ahmed, Secretary General of the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, said: The approval of UNESCO in 2025 is a cultural year to celebrate the poet Sultan Al Owais after UNESCO reviewed the file of the poet Sultan bin Ali Al Owais, which was presented by the National Committee of the United Arab Emirates for Education, Culture and Science, in the 42nd session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Science and Culture Organization. The Secretary -General thanks to the Central Bank for his cooperation in issuing the Mistakel, which will remain present throughout history as a moral and material value and an intellectual heritage of a poet from the Emirates formed a good presence in the world of creativity.
