A woman from “New Jersey” repeats a book borrowed by her grandfather 99 years ago

When the American, Mary Cooper, 81, changed her home, and moved to a younger house, with her the luggage of her late mother brought her to her new home.
During the research and arrangement of her mother’s luggage, after the transition, Cooper discovered an artifact, a book that was borrowed from the public library, and it was about 99 years old.
“I was looking at the titles of books, and I found a book related to the game industry for boys and girls,” Cooper, who lives in the town of Berkeley, in the US state of New Jersey, told CNN.
She added, “I thought it was a wonderful book, and my son may like this kind of book, as he loves making manual things.”
Ibn Cooper was not the only one who cares about handicrafts, as her grandfather Charles Tilton, who borrowed the book from the library originally, was a boat maker and a carpenter.
When Cooper opened the book, entitled “Dolls for Children and Children”, by the author Nile Hall, I realized that he was borrowed in March 1926 from the office of the town of “Usen” in “New Jersey” in the year that previously died Tilton.
The book was published in 1911, which is a guide to the manufacture of simple games made of wood, minerals and household items.
“He had a little girl, my mother … and I thought he wanted to make some games for her,” Cooper said.
Although Cooper has no personal memories with her grandfather, because he died before her birth, her mother was telling her many stories about him.
She remembers that her mother told her that her grandfather made her mother a small boat of wood, which she donated to the charitable “Bey Head Hetterical” in “New Jersey”.
When Cooper found the book, I realized that it was time to return it to the library.
She said: “
While Cooper was heading to the library to return the book, she did not know what could happen, but she hoped that the library wanted to restore the book, and she did not imagine the excitement that could happen, especially in light of the approaching centenary of the establishment of the library, next September.
“I think you want to take a look at this book,” Cooper told the employee upon arrival at the library.
The library spokeswoman, Sherry Talresio, told CNN: “What a happy coincidence, that this book be restored on the 100th anniversary of the library.”
Cooper spent the next few hours looking in the records of the ancestors of her grandfather, and turning the pages of the book with the library employee, and at one moment, Cooper remembered that they coincided with a picture of a boat in the book, which is the same boat that her grandfather made for his daughter, and she was her mother, and she donated it to a charity.
Cooper believes that this relationship made her mother keep the book all these long years, and she said: “At least 10 people wanted to see and touch the book, including the library’s gate.”
The book is now displayed to everyone to see it, with other souvenirs that are saved in a closed treasury in the library, and Talresio said: “Finally, the book returned to his homeland to stay in it in the coming years.” About CNN
Delay fines
Mary Cooper said she was concerned when she went to the library to return the book, for fear that the library would impose delay fines.
She added that the official in charge of the library, jokingly, said that “fines can reach 18 thousand dollars, if they still impose fines on the book,” according to the CNN station.
