Dubai hosts the first international sports and entertainment complex within a free zone

Dubai, March 11 / WAM / The Dubai World Trade Center announced the launch of the “International Sports and Entertainment Region”, the first business complex dedicated to sports and entertainment in the Emirates is located within the free zones system.
The center said in a statement that this region “represents a center for specialized business in the sports and entertainment sector, as it facilitates the issuance of licenses for various commercial activities related to sports and entertainment, and constitutes an exceptional cooperative system to support and accelerate the pace of the sector’s growth.
The region will provide a unified platform for business licensing in existing sports fields, such as management, sports marketing, events management, talent representation, media and broadcasting, as well as support for growth in emerging fields such as electronic sports, artificial intelligence -backed sports technology, and digital symbols for fans.
The region will also include a variety of institutions specialized in the sports sector.
