Egypt condemns the decision of Israel to cut electricity from the Gaza Strip

Egypt condemned that Israel cut off electricity from the Gaza Strip, which is a new breach of international humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

In a statement today, reported by the Middle East News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed its full rejection of the collective punishment policies pursued by Israel, including the suspension of the entry of humanitarian aid, which leads to fueling the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Egypt called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to stop these violations.
