For their part, two officials of the sale of two outlets said that some suppliers and producers are setting goals to achieve increases in certain proportions in sales during the month of Ramadan, so the price is reduced by large proportions to achieve this, but achieving the goal or approaching it makes them reduce the discount rate.

They emphasized that the survival of the largest opponent’s survival for more than a week may cause concrete losses to suppliers and producers, noting that major sales outlets usually offer discounts every week on new goods.

In detail, the consumer Mustafa Abdulaziz said that he noticed that the outlet for the sale of the discount rates that he put forward at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, at rates of up to 40%, demanding the return of the discounts rates to what it was to obtain goods at reasonable prices until the end of Ramadan, and explained that the outlet of selling a discount on a type of rice in the first week of the month of Ramadan to decrease from 65 dirhams to 30 dirhams, but he returned and raised the price during the next week to 42 dirhams It reached 40% from its price in the previous offer.

He stated that the sales perpetrator offered a discount on washing powder at the beginning of the month of Ramadan, to decrease the price from 82 dirhams to 48 dirhams, then returned and raised its price to 62 dirhams at the beginning of the second week of the month of Ramadan, an increase of 29% over its price a few days ago.

In turn, the consumer Nada Al -Taheri said that she noticed that the sales outlets reduced discounts that she put on some commodities on the night of the entry of the month of Ramadan, also required to return the proportions of previous discounts to obtain goods at reasonable prices until the end of Ramadan, pointing out that normal days do not witness the levels of similar discounts for the stirring in Ramadan.

The consumer, Jamal Al -Shami, agreed that the outlets of sale reduced discounts offered to some commodities before and in the first week of Ramadan, calling for the return of previous discounts rates, especially since spending on buying goods during Ramadan increases in large proportions compared to other months.

He said that the outlet of selling a discount on a long -term milk type, in the beginning of Ramadan, decreased from 17.20 dirhams to 12.20 dirhams, then returned in the following week of Ramadan and raised its price to 15.20 dirhams, with an increase of approximately 25% from its price in the previous offer.

He added that another sale outlet offered a offer on one of the types of tomato paste, to drop the price from 17 dirhams to 10 dirhams, then returned and raised its price to 12.95 dirhams in the next offer, with an increase of about 30%.

For his part, the official in one of the sales outlets, Ali Dawood, said that some suppliers and producers put a specific goal to increase sales by certain proportions in the month of Ramadan, so the price is reduced by large proportions to achieve the goal, pointing out that achieving this goal or approaching it, leads them to reduce the discount rate so that it does not cause concrete losses to the supplier and productive companies.

The official in another outlet, Hassan Rizk, agreed with Dawood, explaining that the survival of the large discount rates more than a week may cause significant losses to the producing or supplied company, and the discount rate is reduced.

He said that the major sales outlets usually offer new discounts every week on new goods, pointing out that Ramadan is characterized by high discounts, which included many signs of some commodities to allow freedom of choice to consumers.

He added that these outlets have offered discounts on other trademarks from the same commodity in the second week of Ramadan, so that consumers have the freedom to choose from several signs at different prices.
