المملكة: Hosting US -Ukrainian conversations reflects the Kingdom’s role in promoting world peace

The US State Department announced today, Tuesday, that “the Jeddah meeting has achieved important steps towards achieving peace in Ukraine.”

The US State Department said, according to Al -Arabiya, that “Ukraine agreed during the Jeddah meeting to a ceasefire 30 days if Russia is obligated.”

“Washington will immediately remove the freezing of the exchange of intelligence.”

The US State Department stated that “Kyiv will form a team to negotiate immediately in peace negotiations.”
She added, “We agreed with Kyiv to conclude a comprehensive agreement to detect minerals soon.”

Solve the Ukrainian crisis

Under the direction of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – the Kingdom hosted, in Jeddah, today, Tuesday, the talks between the United States of America and Ukraine, in the presence of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Musaed bin Muhammad Al -Aiban.

The American side was represented in the talks session, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, National Security Adviser Michael Waltz, while the Ukrainian side was the director of the office of Ukrainian President André Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrei Sibha, and Ukrainian Defense Secretary Rustam Omar.
The talks come within the Kingdom’s efforts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine, thanks to its balanced relations with various parties, and within its efforts to enhance security and global peace, and based on its belief in the importance of adhering to international laws and norms, and that dialogue is the most successful way to resolve disputes and bring views closer, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of international security and stability.
