Guterres confirmed that, under the leadership of the President of the United Nations General Assembly, regular consultations will be held with member states to make concrete decisions to discuss and make decisions. He said that the goal is to move as soon as possible in the areas where he possesses power, and urges member states to make decisions that fall within their responsibilities.

The Secretary -General said the United Nations budgets “It is not just numbers, but rather a matter of life or death for millions of people around the world,” Stressing the necessity of guaranteeing value for money and enhancing common values. He called for building “United nations are stronger and more effective that serve people and comply with the twenty -first century.”

The need for the United Nations is greater than ever

The Secretary -General of the United Nations said that our world faces challenges on all fronts, “and since the United Nations reflects this world in all its aspects, we feel it in all our actions.” He added:

“They are timeless times and the inability to predict intensively. However, there are some more clear facts than ever: the need for the United Nations is greater than ever. Our values ​​are more convenient than ever. The needs are greater than ever.”

The Secretary -General warned that the more the United Nations joint efforts to address major challenges around the world increase, the less the burden on individual countries to do so on its own, noting that the United Nations emerges as the place of a fundamental and unique meeting of peace to promote peace, sustainable development and human rights.

Liquidity

But the Secretary -General said that the resources are shrinking in all fields – and it has remained for a long period of time. For all these reasons, the Secretary -General said it is necessary for a complex and decisive organizational system to undergo a strict and regular auditing to assess the extent of its suitability to perform his goals efficiently.
