No one will be expelled from Gaza

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that “no one is forcing Gaza residents to leave the Strip,” in his latest comment on his previous plan, which was displacing about two million Palestinians from the destroyed sector, in preparation for reconstruction and establishing what he described as “Middle East Rivera”.

During his previous plan, which was met with a broad Arab and international rejection, Trump said during a joint press interview with Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin: “No one will be expelled from Gaza.”

For his part, the Prime Minister of Ireland said after Trump’s meeting at the White House: “We want to release the hostages and achieve peace in Gaza,” and also called for the necessity of stabilizing the ceasefire, in light of the international mediation efforts to fight the second -stage discussions of the Gaza Agreement.
