After proposing the armistice … the resumption of handing over American weapons to Ukraine

The American authorities announced the resumption of the delivery of US weapons to Ukraine, the day after the administration of President Donald Trump raised the suspension of military aid to Kev in its war against the Russian invasion, while officials are awaiting the Kremlin’s response to a 30 -day truce proposal, which Ukraine supported.
The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that it is important to “not anticipate events” regarding the response to the armistice proposal presented by Washington.
He added to reporters that Russia is waiting for detailed information from the United States, noting that Moscow needs these details before taking any situation.
The Kremlin previously opposed anything less than a permanent end of the conflict and did not accept any concessions.

Zelinski and Trump’s controversy

US President Donald Trump has been seeking to end the war that has been going on for more than 3 years, pressing his Ukrainian counterpart, Voludmir Zellinski, to enter into negotiations.

Washington suspended the aid provided to Kev after a sharp controversy between Zelinski and Trump during a meeting at the White House, but the US administration’s decision to resume military aid after talks with high -ranking Ukrainian officials in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a clear shift in its position.

It is up to Russia

“It is up to Russia now,” Trump said, referring to his administration to persuade Moscow to agree to the armistice.
“We hope that we will get a ceasefire from Russia, and if we succeed in that, I think we will be 80% of the road to end this terrible bloody bleeding.”
Trump also renewed the threat to impose new sanctions on Russia if it did not respond.
