The owners of determination shine in "Bicycle challenge"

Al -Ain on March 13/ WAM/ The Al Ain Classic Traffic Bicycles, yesterday, witnessed the final rounds of hand and airbags for the owners of determination, as part of the activities of Hafit Al -Riyadi challenge on its eighth day, in an enthusiastic atmosphere and a prominent official presence.

The competitions took place in the presence of Rashid Musabah Al -Mani, Director General of Al Ain City, and Salem bin Harem Al -Ketbi, Chairman of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Challenge of Hafit.

In the handicraft race for the kinetic disability category, Ayed Al -Ahbabi crowned first place, while Saeed Al Dhaheri ranked second in the second place, and Abdullah Al -Hashemi came third.

As for the bicycle race for the category of intellectual disability, Saeed Al -Rashdi snatched the first place, followed by Khaled Al -Mani in second place, and Ali Al -Hadrami third.

Saif Al -Nuaimi, Director of Al Ain Club for People of Determination, stressed that the challenge of Hafit Al -Riyadi is the latest qualitative shift in the concept of community sport, praising the great demand for the event.

He praised the great societal interaction with this challenge, as it combined the various groups of society in an inspiring competitive atmosphere, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, indicating that the challenge achieved its desired goals by promoting the integration of people of determination into society.

Al -Naimi pointed out that the races witnessed support and encouragement in light of the presence of the masses and the participants, which reflects the value of the event and its positive impact.

For his part, Ayed Al -Ahbabi, the Asian and UAE champion, expressed his happiness at achieving the first position in the handicraft race for the kinetic disability category.

He thanked His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in Al Ain, for his generous support for this event and for all athletes.

In the context of other competitions within the Hafta Challenge, the Zakher neighborhood team crowned the Fole Foley Football Championship, “Brazilian tennis”, after a strong match against the Shaab Al -Ashkour team, which was running runner -up.

All matches were organized at the Al -Ashkour garden stadium, where the Naama, Al -Shuaiba teams, Umm Ghaza, and the Al -Watt Division performed advanced performance and exciting competition, which reflected an advanced level for the competitors for the title of this sport.
