In addition, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provided about 58 thousand carpets carefully distributed within the corridors and courtyards of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
In distributing carpets, the authority relies on precise operational plans that take into account the density areas within the Two Holy Mosques, as Carpets are being spread in the most needy locations according to regulatory standards that keep pace with the flow of worshipers, in order to achieve the highest levels of flow of movement and allow worshipers to perform their worship in an atmosphere of reassurance and tranquility.
The field teams are keen to continuously monitor the readiness of the carpets, through cleaning, sterilization and periodic replacement, in addition to redistributing them, in a way that suits the change in crowd density during times of prayers and peak hours, especially in the month of Ramadan, which witnesses the influx of large numbers of people. A faith environment for worshipers
The Authority pays special attention to the quality of the carpets used, as they are manufactured according to high specifications that take into account the requirements of extensive use within the Two Holy Mosques, in addition to the comfort it provides to worshipers while performing prayers, taking into account safety standards and ease of cleaning and maintenance.
These efforts come within an integrated system of services provided by the Authority inside the Two Holy Mosques, with the aim of creating a comfortable faith environment for worshipers.
