Without damage registered … a 5.7 Richter earthquake hit east of Taiwan
The Central Meteorological Department announced a 5.7 -magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale off the coast of Titung County in East Taiwan at one and nine minutes in the evening local time.

The Taiwanese News Agency reported that the earthquake center was at sea 53 km northeast of the Titung County Center, and at a depth of 12.5 km.
There were no immediate reports on material damage due to the earthquake.
