Eastern Municipality offers 375 investment opportunities to enhance economic development

The Eastern Province Municipality has offered 375 various investment opportunities in the cities and governorates of the region through the “opportunities” portal, with the aim of supporting economic development and attracting investors in various sectors.
The Secretary of the Eastern Region, Eng. Fahd Al -Jubeir, said that the opportunities presented included 150 competitive investment opportunities and 225 temporary rental opportunities for seasonal and limited activities, and include areas such as the development of marine facades, infrastructure, transportation, markets, entertainment and tourism centers, sports activities, nurseries, parks, and various commercial sites.
He added that the opportunities include temporary and seasonal investment activities, such as festivals, events, restaurants, and food carts, which contributes to stimulating the economy and supporting entrepreneurs.
Al -Jubeir indicated that the Secretariat exceeded the Ministry of Finance’s targets for seven consecutive years, as its investments exceeded 95% of the available assets, and its revenues amounted to more than two billion riyals, which enhances financial sustainability. Investors and entrepreneurs called to explore opportunities through the “Opportunities” platform and participate in projects that enhance the quality of life and sustainable development in the region.
