Abu Dhabi, March 13/ WAM/ Under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Al -Watan Fund concluded the intensive session of training trainers as an advanced stage of the Emirates Program program with the participation of 100 school teachers in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with the aim of qualifying them to train school students participating in the new version of the “Emirates Programming”.

This comes in order to enhance the capabilities of the sons and daughters of the Emirates in this vital field, in addition to developing training cadres capable of transferring technical knowledge and skills to school students throughout the country, where artificial intelligence technology was used for the first time in the training process.

The move came within the framework of the Fund’s commitment to enhancing programming skills among Emirati youth, in line with the state’s vision towards digital transformation and building an economy based on knowledge and innovation.

His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, Director General of the Watan Fund, said that the trainers training program is one of the most important leading programs that aim to form a wide base of trainers in all state schools to accommodate the large numbers participating in the UAE programmer program and qualify them in the final stages, stressing that the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al -Watan Fund, focused on the importance of good preparation for the largest possible number of teachers in order to be excellently qualified as trainers The fund can depend on them in the coming stages within their schools to expand the base of the beneficiary from the “Emirates Programming” program from Emirates students during the next stage.

Al -Qarqawi added that the program numbers of trainers focused the program on several basic stages to develop the theoretical and practical skills and knowledge of the participants, with the aim of qualifying them to become professional trainers who are able to transfer knowledge to students, stressing that the course targeted the training of a selection of teachers and specialists in the education and technology sector on the latest interactive education methods in programming, with the aim of providing them with the skills necessary to train school students participating in the program “UAE programmer”, and the intense training program focused on several topics, including the basics of programming, computer thinking, problem solving skills, and innovation in software development, through extensive training sessions that combine theoretical and applied.

Al -Qarqawi explained that the “Emirates Programming” program is one of the leading projects launched by the Watan Fund to enhance technical creativity among school students, as it targets thousands of students in various parts of the country with the aim of enabling them to program and motivates them to technological innovation, and through the course “Training of trainers”, the fund seeks to create a wide base of qualified cadres that guarantee the sustainability of programming education and the transfer of knowledge to new generations continuously, indicating that the last version is that the last version is From the program, the participation of 1407 students from 83 schools at the state level and that the fund aims to double these numbers annually, to reach everyone.
