The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Hospital carried out more than 6,500 surgery, including approximately 550 operations to replace the valve by catheter, and about 2000 coronary artery licensing surgeries, providing a new standard in caring for heart disease. The hospital received the accreditation of the Center for Excellence in Heart Surgery for Adults from the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the organizational authority of the health care sector in the emirate, reflecting its leadership in innovation with cardiovascular disease. The hospital also provided advanced heart and chest procedures, including the first procedure in the UAE with the lowest limits of surgical intervention to repair the coronary valve and cardiac heart surgery with the help of the robot, and in 2023 the hospital began providing lung transplantation in the country, in order to establish his regional leadership in caring for heart and chest diseases.
The Fatima Bint Mubarak Center, the most advanced independent tumor care facility in the region, worked to establish entirely new standards in caring for oncology using advanced treatment options and multidisciplinary care methodologies. Since its inauguration in 2023, the hospital has registered more than 55,000 visits to the Oncology Clinic, and more than 14,000 radiotherapy, 22,000 chemotherapy and 14,000 studies with photography examinations.
