The shape of the moon in the eastern horizon

The head of the astronomical association in Jeddah, Eng. Majid Abu Zahra, explained that the moon will rise from the eastern horizon after sunset, where he will notice that its apparent size appears large when it approaches the horizon, which is just an optical illusion, while it appears in an orange color as a result of the effect of the atmosphere of the Earth, and then it will reach the highest point in the sky after midnight, then it sets at the western horizon with the sunrise on Saturday.

The best time to monitor the surface of the moon

And that the moon is now moving on the opposite side of the sun in the sky, which makes us see the entire bright side, to show us a glossy silver ball.
This time of the month is perfect for monitoring and photographing radioactive nozzles on the moon using a laparoscope or a small telescope, unlike the rest of the terrain that appears flat due to the fully lighting of the moon with the light of the sun.
Abu Zahra indicated that radioactive nozzles are deposits of reflective materials that extend from the center of the nozzle outward for hundreds of kilometers, and it is believed to be newly formed, and the “Takho” nozzle is the most radiant among them.
It is reported that during the coming nights, the moon will rise late for about an hour every day, and within a few days, it will only be visible in the sky of dawn and early morning, to reach the last phase of the last week after its completion in Badr.
