المملكة: Saudi Scouts .. a renewed tender in the service of visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque

Saudi Scouts stand out as one of the honorable models in the fields of volunteer work, as its members continue their distinguished efforts to serve the visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque, within the public service camp organized by the Saudi Arabian Scout Association.
This initiative comes as an extension of the scouting message in providing support and support to the guests of Rahman, through a tight coordination with the competent authorities to ensure the comfort of visitors and worshipers.

Pivotal role

Scouts plays a pivotal role in organizing worshipers and managing crowds, especially during peak times, to ensure the ease of movement inside the mosque and its arenas, and they also contribute to the guidance of the lost through points equipped with maps and guidelines that facilitate visitors to reach their destinations.

The giving extends to the elderly and those with special needs, as volunteers provide mobile vehicles and chairs, in addition to delivering them to the places of prayer.

The scouts also initiate the distribution of refrigerated water and breakfast meals, to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for visitors during times of worship.

Their efforts do not stop inside the mosque, but rather include the regulation of traffic in the central area in cooperation with the relevant authorities, which contributes to facilitating the arrival of worshipers to the Prophet’s Mosque and its facilities, as well as providing similar services in the squares of the Quba Mosque.

The spirit of responsibility

Ahmed Mohamed Al -Atwan, Commissioner for Community Service and Development of the Saudi Arabian Scout Association, stressed that these efforts come to enhance the culture of volunteer work and consolidate the spirit of responsibility among young people, by harnessing their capabilities to serve the visitors of the second holy mosques, in an effort to provide a distinguished spiritual experience for the guests of Rahman.
