"Dubai Legacy" Legal consultants training depends on brokerage in conflicts

Dubai, March 16 / WAM / The Dubai Government’s Legal Affairs Department included training in customer representation skills during mediation in resolving civil and commercial disputes, within the continuous professional development program for legal advisors enrolled in it, in a move that makes it the first global organizational authority to adopt this training within the requirements for renewing professional registration.

Dubai legal advisers are obliged to obtain 16 training hours annually, of which 8 hours are obligatory for materials determined by the department, to which brokerage skills were added to enhance the use of this mechanism to settle disputes without resorting to the judiciary.

His Excellency Dr. Louay Mohamed Balhll, Director General of the Department, stressed that the program enhances the role of mediation according to the latest legislative variables, and ensures the advancement of the level of efficiency in providing legal services, noting that the training is carried out in cooperation with the European Center for Mediation “ADR Center”, one of the most prominent specialized centers in Europe.
