"Youth for sustainability" It wins the Energy Champions Award for 2025

Abu Dhabi, March 17/ WAM/ The “Youth for Sustainability” platform, the global initiative led by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company “Source”, won the “Best Innovative” award in the 2025 Energy Champions Awards awarded by the “Sustainable Energy for All” organization, in appreciation of the efforts of the leading platform in enabling the next generation to become pioneers in the field of sustainability.
The “Youth for Sustainable” platform won the award in appreciation of its important role, and its distinguished contributions in preparing young people, and providing them with knowledge and skills that qualify them to play an active role in achieving a qualitative shift in the energy sector and building a sustainable future.
The “Youth for Sustainability” platform focuses on investing in supporting the development and development of youth capabilities and preparing and empowering the next generation of sustainability leaders.
Mohamed Jamil Al -Ramahi, CEO of “Masdar”, expressed pride in the victory of the “Youth for Sustainable” platform with the prestigious 2025 Sustainability Award granted by the “Sustainable Energy for All” organization, which is the culmination of the important efforts made by the entire platform team to enhance the youth skills, empowering them and refine their skills.
He added that in the belief in the pivotal role of youth in formulating the global sustainability agenda, the platform is committed to enabling them and providing them with the necessary tools and providing opportunities for them to exercise their desired role in leading positive change, advancing innovation, and building a sustainable future that includes everyone.
The “Youth for Sustainability” platform works to achieve its goals through an integrated set of programs that include the “Sustainability Ambassadors” program that extends throughout the year, and focuses on preparing high school students between the ages of 15 to 18 years, to become pioneers in the field of sustainability by providing them with knowledge, skills and training and giving them communication opportunities.
The “Future Sustainability Leaders” program, which extends throughout the year, provides opportunities for university students and young professionals between the ages of 19 and 35 years to communicate with sustainability leaders, policy makers and technology pioneers around the world.
It also targets the program “educating international youth” all young people in the Emirates and the world, by providing them with virtual training programs with a focus on the personal skills necessary to prepare them and prepare them for future jobs.
