Haddad said of his childhood: “I am the son of a poor family, as I was born in a popular environment in the city of Aleppo, the advantage in this environment is that it contained three religions: Islam, Christianity and Judaism, because I grew up in an environment that does not know the distinction, and the issue was not concerned with us as children, and this stage remained inherent to us until high school, so everything that was concerned with us is the human and human dimension, and how it could help others.” He grew up in this environment full of collective awareness; He lived his childhood in an unprepared universal environment.

A failed doctor project:
Salloum Haddad remembers his mother’s desire to be a doctor, and people call her “the mother of the doctor”, despite his strong opposition to that; The fact that he was not mastered the scientific materials required by the study of medicine, and his mother’s insistence on his study of medicine may cause him to return him “high school” three times due to the presence of materials, such as: physics, chemistry and neighborhoods in it, because it was a hateful for these materials, and a love of poetry, culture, music and beauty.

After his success with great difficulty, and with “assistance” in the baccalaureate exam (high school), he had two options to study, namely: agriculture, or arts, and that he had the talent of drawing, as he chose the arts that he succeeded in accepting her acceptance very easily because of his great skill in drawing.
Difficult beginnings .. and several professions:
The owner of the famous “Shaqif” personality says that he started his university life in Damascus with the outbreak of the October War, and because of the circumstances of the war there was no work, nor money comes from his father or brother, so he had to work to be able to complete his university studies, especially since he was rejecting the idea of returning to Aleppo, and he wanted to stay in the capital, Damascus, and complete his dream of studying the arts.

Salloum Haddad worked, according to his speech, to wash the dishes in a restaurant, then a registered for customers in a hotel, and then an assistant to one of the bus drivers between Damascus and Aleppo, so he was daily traveling 360 km back and forth, where he was leading the trip from Damascus towards Aleppo at six in the evening, and returning to Damascus about six in the morning, to sleep two hours and then go at eight in the morning to his university.
New work:
Because he had a unique talent in drawing, and when he was in the third year of university, one of his students asked to reproduce and draw international paintings, and Salloum was surprised by his teacher with what he drew, and his paintings were a copy of identical to the original drawing, and he began selling them with rewarding amounts at that time, according to his saying, where the price of one plate was from 300 to 500 Syrian pounds, which is an astronomical amount at that time, and he began to occupy this work and sell the paintings He finished his university studies.

Salloum pointed out that, and his brother, they used to draw films advertisements, as his brother also possessed the same talent in drawing, and the drawing of films ads was the beginning of his attachment to cinema, which prompted him to ask his family to travel to Cairo to study at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, which was met with conclusive rejection due to difficult material conditions, and the inability of the family to study it outside. Salloum continues that he did not lose hope, and he found at the theater of the College of Arts as a space for him; To express his talent for acting, and began his true career from there, he presented the first play in the name of “The Holy”, and it was directed by the late actor Jamil Awad, then moved from the college theater to the university theater, and from it to TV, and this march continued to this day.
My daughter is an international artist:
As if the talent of drawing is inherited in the family of the artist Salloum Haddad, he stressed that his daughter, who lives in Paris, spends most of his time, is a global artist, and has an exceptional talent in drawing, and “Forbes” has previously reported her name in the fields of art and culture. He added that she is a well -known artist worldwide, and she has opponents in Europe and America, and she is known for her rebellion and stubbornness, just like her father, as they were born in the same month and with only two days, both of whom are Aries, and showed that his daughter like him loves everything that has a relationship with value, spirit and interest, and thinks about a different direction from others.
