المملكة: The Saudi Program for the Reconstruction of Yemen rehabilitates a road that serves 5 million Yemenis

The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen announced the rehabilitation of the road linking Taiz Governorate in several governorates.
He stressed that he is a vital artery, and is extremely important in the lives of 5 million Yemenis.

Road rehabilitation projects in Yemen

The project will contribute to the safe movement of vehicles, facilitate the movement of individuals and goods from food, pharmaceutical goods, etc., and reduce their costs with the shortening of the travel period.
It also provides immediate job opportunities, and serves several economic, service, educational and other sectors.

The project to rehabilitate the Hijjah Al -Abd Road came to alleviate the daily suffering of the road owners due to the side collapses of the road and the poor rainwater drainage channels in it, and the deterioration of asphalt layers in large parts of it.

The road comes with a length of approximately 9 kilometers, a difference of 1000 meters from the top of the road to the end, and it lacks traffic safety elements, such as: concrete barriers to protect vehicles, the presence of rock collapses, the need to rehabilitate water drainage channels and the establishment of new channels to prevent water penetration of the paving layers.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen presented 264 projects and initiative in eight basic and vital sectors, namely: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fish wealth, development and support for the capabilities of the Yemeni government, and development programs, in various Yemeni governorates.
