Dubai, March 20/ WAM/ The Office of Knowledge Exchange in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs discussed during its annual meeting, which witnessed the participation of 60 diplomats of ambassadors and consuls of brotherly and friendly countries partner in UAE government knowledge exchange initiatives, ways to enhance partnerships aimed at developing and modernizing government work by benefiting from the best experiences and success stories inspiring to the UAE government, and its government partners around the world.
The participants reviewed the developments of strategic partnerships in the areas of government modernization between the UAE government and the governments of brotherly and friendly countries, the most important achievements that have been achieved, the inspiring models and stories that have been achieved.
His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, stressed, in an opening speech to the annual meeting activities, that the UAE adopts the approach of joint cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and best practices with its international partners to enhance opportunities in various fields with various countries, noting that the interaction between countries and the exchange of experiences is a pivotal factor in achieving sustainable development.
He said that the UAE, since its establishment, has adopted a dynamic economic approach that contributed to building a modern country capable of attracting global investments, and continuously seeks to develop legislation and laws to enhance the business environment, which made it a major destination for investors and businessmen from different countries of the world, where they find a safe and stimulating investment environment for growth and expansion.
He added that cultural, cognitive and economic exchange between countries enhances the opportunities for joint cooperation, noting that in the past, the UAE was a commercial country that relies on historical ties with Asia and Africa, and today this approach continues through policies based on partnership and openness.
His Excellency praised the role that the ambassadors play in building bridges of communication between the UAE and their countries, pointing out that this cooperation represents an important platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices.
He affirmed the UAE’s commitment to continuing its efforts to enhance cooperation and knowledge, economic and cultural exchange with various countries, in order to see the rational leadership in building a prosperous and sustainable future for all
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange, stressed that the initiatives of cognitive exchange reflect the commitment of the UAE government to share its successful experiences with partner countries, and translates its belief that knowledge is an essential tool for growth and development that achieves aspirations and common visions, aimed at building a better future for societies.
He said that the success of the Emirati government cognitive exchange program is not only measured by the size of the implementing initiatives, but also with its sustainable impact in promoting government performance and enabling societies to adopt innovative and sustainable solutions, noting that the real competitiveness lies in cooperation and continuous learning, and that governments achieve greater success and progress when ideas share and build on each other’s experiences, which reflects positively on the quality of society.
He praised the advanced level of fruitful cooperation with the partner countries in the program, and is keen to enhance cognitive exchange, stressing the importance of continuing partnerships to develop innovative solutions that benefit everyone.
For his part, His Excellency Mohamed Saif Al -Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, stressed in his speech during the meeting that the strengthening of international cooperation is an essential element in supporting global development initiatives, and contributes to exchanging experiences and providing sustainable financing to implement projects that achieve economic and social development. International.
He said that the Fund attaches great importance to establishing strategic partnerships with global governments and development institutions, based on its strategic vision aimed at implementing qualitative development projects that cause a tangible positive impact on the life of societies, and contributes to achieving sustainable development on a large scale.
Within the activities of the meeting, a dialogue session was held entitled “Exchange of Experiences: Inspiring Stories from the Emirates”, moderated by Rashid Hareb Al -Falahi, and witnessed the participation of a number of government officials who discussed the successful experiences that were transferred through the cognitive exchange program, and its impact on developing government work at the international level.
His Excellency Lt. Col. Dana Hamid Al Marzouqi, Director General of the International Affairs Office in the Ministry of Interior, reviewed the UAE experience in enhancing security and stability as a major support for sustainable development.
She pointed to the active role of artificial intelligence in security operations, reviewing the experience of cooperation with Uzbekistan in 2022, where the UAE presented advanced training programs in the criminal analysis based on artificial intelligence to combat electronic crime, which strengthened Uzbekistan’s security capabilities and made them one of the leading countries in this field in the region.
For his part, His Excellency Eng. Mohammed bin Tala’i, head of government services for the UAE government, touched on the leadership of the Emirates in the digital transformation of government services, pointing to the successful cooperation with the Egyptian government in 2023, which resulted in the launch of the “Digital Egypt Center”, which is inspired by the UAE government services centers, as it contributed to providing more than 100 services through a unified platform, which led to reducing the times of completion of transactions by 60%.
Dr. Walid Al Ali, Secretary -General of the Digital School, talked about the importance of digital education in supporting societies and empowering individuals, reviewing the role of the digital school as a leading initiative in promoting distance education, especially for societies that suffer from a lack of services around the world.
He explained that the “accredited digital teacher” program, which was launched in partnership with Arizona State University, contributed to training and qualifying thousands of teachers globally, which reflects the UAE’s commitment to supporting the global digital education paths.
At the end of the meeting, a group of distinguished digital teachers was honored within the “accredited digital teacher” initiative, which was launched by the digital school in cooperation with the government knowledge exchange office.
The teachers were chosen based on criteria that included the completion rate of the required levels and the speed of completion, as the winners were identified in the first three places at the level of the top ten countries in the initiative.
Teacher Madinzagra Vadzai of the Zimbabwe Republic won first place, and the teacher, Shimidserin Niasurn, came from Mongolia, while the third place was ranked by the teacher, Foti Sanilisiwi Nakamboli, from the Kingdom of Swatini.
The annual meeting also celebrated the most interactive cognitive exchange countries in the digital teacher initiative, which are Bermuda, the Republic of Paraguay, and the Republic of Serbia.
It is noteworthy that the government of the UAE launched the government cognitive exchange program with the aim of transferring best practices and government experiences to brotherly and friendly countries, and enhancing cooperation in the areas of modernization and government development.
Since its launch in 2018, the program has succeeded in launching partnerships with dozens of countries around the world, with the aim of building institutional capabilities and developing government performance through exchanging knowledge in the areas of strategic planning, government excellence, and the leadership of government services, in addition to implementing strategic initiatives and building institutional capabilities.
