A huge fire broke out in one of the main open markets in Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana, in a tragedy whose reasons have not been revealed yet, and the fire came on more than 4 thousand square meters of stores and dozens of stalls.
The fire was controlled five hours after the intervention, but its extinguishing was very difficult.

In connection with Radio France International, a spokesman for the commission reported that there are great difficulties in moving inside the narrow and crowded corridors in the market.
For his part, Ghanaian President John Dramani went to Mahama to visit the accident site and meet the fire victims, and the president confirmed that his government would do everything in its power to help traders rebuild the market.
