"Sharjah libraries" 45 Arabists gathered on a tour to explore the emirate’s memory
Sharjah, March 23 / WAM / “Sharjah Libraries”, in cooperation with the “Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah”, organized a cultural event entitled “Cultural Renaissance”, during which it hosted a delegation of Arabists studying at the Qasimiya University. And Arabic and learn about the role of public libraries in spreading knowledge and building civilized bridges.
The cultural tour came within the framework of Sharjah libraries celebrations of the hundred years since its establishment is an affirmation of its role in consolidating culture and knowledge over a century and consolidating their position as a bridge that links civilizations, with the aim of highlighting the importance of public libraries as vital platforms for spreading science and knowledge and promoting cultural dialogue among Arab students who specialize in Arabic literature in a way that contributes to building bridges of communication between cultures.
The Arabized students participating in the cultural tour expressed their admiration for the services provided by Sharjah libraries and considered them integrated cognitive and societal beacons that meet the needs of readers and provide an environment rich in science and cultural communication.
