Abu Dhabi Police implements a humanitarian initiative and fulfills the wish of two children

Abu Dhabi Police made two fraternal children in the Al Ain area happy by fulfilling their wish to accompany the “Children’s Patrol,” an embodiment of its humanitarian and societal role and its keenness to make community members happy and enhance positive communication with them.
A team from the Traffic Awareness and Education Branch of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate visited the two children’s home, where they had a unique experience, represented by a tour of the children’s patrol, during which they learned about the duties of police officers and the importance of adhering to traffic rules in a simplified and interactive manner.

Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Balushi, Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate, confirmed that these humanitarian initiatives are part of Abu Dhabi Police’s sustainable approach to making society happy, and a true translation of its vision that security is not limited to protecting lives and property only, but extends to include supporting the humanitarian and social aspects, and consolidating the spirit of community solidarity and cohesion.

He explained that the initiative witnessed positive interaction from the two children and their families, who expressed their happiness with this humanitarian gesture, praising the efforts of Abu Dhabi Police in bringing joy to the hearts of the children, while souvenirs were presented to them and to family members, in addition to distributing gifts to the children present.

The appropriate awareness team provided important traffic instructions to the people of the area and children, focusing on the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and avoiding the dangers resulting from playing on or near the roads, in a way that enhances traffic safety.

At the conclusion of the visit, the role of the Children’s Patrol and its awareness message aimed at instilling traffic culture among young people was introduced, which reflects the efforts of Abu Dhabi Police in promoting the concept of community policing, consolidating safety values, and achieving happiness for community members.
