"Naval naval" The first LNG ship receives in favor of "United Global for burnt goods"
Abu Dhabi, March 24/ WAM/ The Nahom Marine, operating under the umbrella of the maritime sector and shipping of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, declared the first multi -use ship, operating with liquefied natural gas to handle cars, trucks and heavy goods, according to the joint project “United Global for the burnt goods” that was recently established in cooperation with “Arkourt”, the leading Turkish company in the field of freight of goods Running.
The operation of this new ship, named “Al Samha UGR”, comes within the framework of the comprehensive expansion strategy pursued by “Nahom Marine” to transport heavy and rolling goods and is considered one of the most prominent ships operating in this field and includes 12 floors covering a total area of 59,331 square meters, with a capacity of more than 7,000 cars.
Car and trucks that work with liquefied natural gas provides a large group of advantages, especially with regard to facing environmental challenges, improving operational efficiency, including reducing carbon emissions compared to traditional fuel, enhancing the most clean operations due to their limited effect on air quality, reducing cost through fuel efficiency, improving performance, and lowering maintenance costs.
The use of liquefied natural gas is in line with the long -term goals of the United Arab Emirates in removing carbon, and its plans aimed at reaching net emissions by 2050, which is also considered one of the main goals that “Naval Naval” seeks to achieve within its future plans, by converting its entire fleet into alternative fuel.

It should be noted that this ship will be allocated to work within the current fleet that is managed under the joint project “United Global for burnt goods”, to provide burnt cargo services through the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean, with the aim of linking global maritime lines, and enhancing logistical services to transport and charging vehicles and heavy goods in a sustainable way.
