The decree of the Federal Law No. (14) of 2024 was excluded regarding the regulation of traffic and traffic, which enters into force on March 29, three categories of obtaining a driver’s license .

Article (9) of the decree specified the groups excluded from obtaining a driver’s license, as it stipulated that three categories of the provisions of obtaining a driver’s license are excluded, among them the drivers of the vehicles registered and licensed in a foreign country, who are excluded from the provisions of registration and licenses mentioned in this decree by a law, provided that they have driving licenses issued by the competent authorities in that country and approved in the state or international command licenses It is in place that allows them to lead these vehicles during their stay in the state, whether it is for transit or visit.

Also among the exempted categories are the holders of leadership licenses or international or foreign leadership permits are valid authorized to remain in the state for non -residence, in accordance with the controls specified in this decree of the law and its executive regulations..

The decree has set four conditions for issuing a driver’s license:

The normal person reached the age of (17) seventeen years of his age, that the medical examination required by the licensing authority successfully or submits an accredited report in accordance with what is determined by the executive regulations for this decree by law, and that the driving test successfully passes according to what is determined by the executive regulations for this decree by law, and the executive regulations of this decree shall specify the law of the types of driving licenses and the duration of each type, conditions, controls and age groups and the necessary procedures and procedures To issue each type of driving licenses.
