المملكة: Today it monitors the distribution of breakfast meals to visitors to the Kingdom at Jeddah airports

In a bright image that reflects the spirit of giving and generosity that characterizes the Kingdom, the employees of Jeddah airports, with the participation of volunteers of all ages, continue to draw a smile on the faces of pilgrims and visitors coming to the Kingdom, by distributing breakfast meals to the fasting people from the moment of their arrival.
The Jeddah Airports Administration explained that this initiative, which offers 370,000 meals during the blessed month of Ramadan, by distributing more than 13,000 meals per day, in which more than 40 volunteers participate in addition to the airport employees and a number of charities, such as the Namaa Charitable Society, the Hadiya Al -Hajj and Al -Mu’tamar Association, the eyes of Jeddah, and the Ikram Al -Abiabah Association, which comes within the framework of social responsibility for Jeddah airports, with the aim of alleviating the fasting people who coincide with their travel date with Maghrib call to prayer.

For his part, Faisal Tariq Al -Salem, one of the participating airport employees, said: “Charitable works in the Kingdom do not stop at a certain limit, so the love of good is rooted in the hearts of everyone, especially in the month of Ramadan, where people are racing to obtain the reward and serve others.

Volunteering was not limited to adults only, as the rising generation had his share of participation. The child Moaz, who was not more than ten years old, stood enthusiastically distributing meals, saying: “I love volunteering, and I feel happy and I am helping others.

As for the volunteer Noura Al -Sharif, she expressed her feelings, saying: “Ramadan is the month of goodness, and this wonderful atmosphere made me be sure to be here daily to participate in the distribution of meals. Multiple sites for distribution, such as the hall (1), the northern hall, and the Hajj and Umrah halls complex, have been allocated to ensure that meals reach all fasting people in time.”

A renewed commitment every year

Fahd Al -Ghamdi, one of the participants in the initiative, stressed that the program continues to provide breakfast meals in all halls, noting that 370,000 meals will be distributed during the month of Ramadan, at a rate of more than 13,000 meals per day.
