The American University of Bahrain celebrates the achievements of its students in conjunction with the Bahraini youth day

The American University of Bahrain celebrated Bahraini Youth Day, which falls on March 25 of each year, which is an important national occasion to honor the achievements of young people and their active role in building the future of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and emphasizing the university’s commitment to support and empowering young people by providing high -level education that qualifies them for a distinguished professional future, and qualitative opportunities for development, training and talent development that enhances their academic and professional capabilities.

The university praised the efforts of a number of distinguished students who made prominent contributions in various fields, such as innovation, community leadership, entrepreneurship and technology, sporting and arts fields and represented the Kingdom of Bahrain in foreign regional and international forums.

In the context of its celebration of student excellence, the university honored a number of remarkable achievements, which included students obtaining the first position in the challenge of investment research for the CFA Institute, in addition to the victory of the Doo team consisting of students and graduates of the American University in Bahrain in the “Start August” competition and obtaining a prize of 20 thousand Bahraini dinars. The university also celebrated the victory of the football team in the Bahraini Sports Federation Cup for schools and universities, and won the first place in Hackathon World Research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the university team achieved the American University Championship in the UAE for debates.

On this occasion, Dr. Amal Al -Awadi, Dean of Student Affairs, valued the support and attention that young people in the Kingdom of Bahrain are in light of the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and His Majesty’s belief in the importance of the role of youth and their energies and their impact on the sustainability of the march of development in the Kingdom of Bahrain as a real, effective and important multiplication in the elevation of the country.
