Art House launches a family program at Expo Dubai
Dubai, March 24 / WAM / The Art House, in Expo City Dubai, launched the “Saturday Encounters at the Art House” program, which is a pioneering family program that combines arts, culture and health, and aims to involve children and their families in a distinctive mix of creative, interactive and educational experiences.
The program, which will start next April 11, has been designed as a periodic artistic event that provides a dedicated space for families to communicate through shared experiences based on exploration and self-expression, in addition to developing children’s curiosity and building their confidence and imagination.
The program includes activities and events suitable for children from the age groups (4 to 7 years) and (8 to 12 years), taking into account the stages of development, children’s interests, and their different levels of interaction.
Through guided workshops, interactive sessions and practical experiences, participants are encouraged to test new ideas, discover distinctive ways of expression, and build self-confidence in a supportive environment filled with the warmth of family.
The “Saturday Meetings at the House of Art” program is based on three main axes: the art axis, which includes artistic activities that allow children to explore materials, colors, drawing and coloring techniques, and the development of creative thinking and self-expression, the health axis, which includes sports and physical activities in which all family members participate in a fun and engaging manner, relying on movement and mental focus, and the third axis is music, which provides a number of musical sessions and workshops for children to learn the principles of rhythms and the nature of melodies and musical instruments, while providing the opportunity to participate in interactive experiences that support… Listening, creativity and shared fun.
In addition to the sessions and workshops, families participating in the “Saturday Meeting at the Art House” event can explore the breadth of the Art House, including its galleries and exhibitions.
