Adding the “JPS” shipping service to the Islamic port of Jeddah

This comes within the framework of “ports” interest in strengthening with major regional and international navigation lines; To reach international leadership in line with the targets of the national transport and logistical services strategy to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global logistical center, and the axis of linking the three continents.
The new shipping service “JPS” is working to link Jeddah Islamic Port to Port Sudan Port, with a capacity of 450 standard containers.
Jeddah Islamic Port
It is noteworthy that Jeddah Islamic Port includes 62 multi -purpose berths, a logistical service area for deposit and re -export, and a direct transportation system through the trucks from the port and to it, in addition to a number of specialized stations, advanced equipment, which includes two container handling stations with a handling capacity of 7.5 million standard containers, two public goods stations, two sinks to repair ships, maintenance of marine pieces, and a group Pharaohs of marine services from Qatar and maritime counseling, and its capacity reaches 130 million tons.
